MEET THE DENTIST

Dr. Avani Khatri, DDS, is from Louisville, Colorado, with a profound dedication to pediatric dentistry and serving underserved communities. She attained her Bachelor of Arts in Biology from the University of Denver before completing her Doctorate of Dental Surgery at the University of Colorado School of Dentistry in 2007.

Dr. Khatri embarked on her professional journey with pediatric populations in the Denver metro area, igniting her passion for pediatric dentistry and commitment to underserved and special needs communities. She spent five years as the dental director for Kids in Need of Dentistry, the oldest dental non-profit in the United States.

In 2015, she pursued specialized training in Pediatric Dentistry at the University of Mississippi Medical Center, where she served as Chief Resident, solidifying her dedication to serving communities in need. Since then, Dr. Khatri has served in various capacities across the Jackson, Ridgeland, and Natchez areas.

Outside of her professional pursuits, Dr. Khatri treasures quality time with her husband and two children, indulging in music, movies, reading, and cooking. She actively contributes to the Junior League of Jackson through volunteering. Dr. Khatri eagerly anticipates the opportunity to care for your children and enhance the community's oral health.
